This charming vintage quilt top. Colorful square pattern possibly from feedsack. Alternated with plain ecru material. Machine stitched. Cotton. The last picture show the back with the workmanship. Has an area with spots that needs soaked out (4th picture). Measures 82 inches long and 72 inches wide. No bad odors.
Would be nice to finish or take apart for your own projects.
*** A kind lady from a textile forum has informed me that this quilt top has several different documented names. The most common is Cross Roads (Brackman # 2883). She also said that this pattern was sometimes used for an autograph quilt. Quilters would put their names in the rectangle sections of the block. ***
